Normally, I would answer "I am a Financial Educator, I give free Financial Education", but then I realize that, that is not what I do. Being a financial Educator is about giving out free information on how to make money, save money, accumulate money and protect money, it is all about making a difference in someone else's life. I remember this one blog made a friend now (a stranger before) that if I didn't persist and insisted that she should attend the Financial Literacy Seminar even though she is a Certified Public Accountant, she would still stuck up with the rat race cycle.
The Rat Race Cycle - you work hard tapos pag dating ng sahod, bayad agad si bills (kuryente, tubig, cable, phone bills etc.), saka pupunta sa mall go shopping, bar for gimik 'yong matitira pagkakasyahin hanggang sa susunod na sahod (dahil dito kaya siguro naging every 15 days na ang sahod) kung papalarin may pang savings but more often than not walang natitira ending nagkakautang pa. Paulit ulit na ganun ang nangyayari for most of us, we have the same system.
On my part, it is a bit different since I am dependent with my parents kasi sila ung nagtatrabaho, ako tagatanggap at taga gastos. It was hard for me to give up my system, until I end up having so much debt and it controlled me.
A lot of people have the same financial story as mine or maybe almost alike. I don't wanna hide in the shadows of guilt and frustrations anymore. I want let you know that there is a solution, there is a way out.
According to Robert Kiyosaki "If you want to be rich, you need to be Financially Educated". We all have the right to be wealthy if we have the right information, training and support system. Me, having attended in these kind of seminars and being enrolled in a financial school, I finally found my passion and compassion to others by helping them be financially worry free through Financial Education. Escaping from the rat race cycle, becoming debt free, creating / building wealth, and accumulate assets. Hindi masamang maging handa, magplanu at mag siguro.
Remember prevention is always better than cure!
